A photo that encapsulates the wonder, grandeur and exposure of climbing on the Organ Pipes of kunanyi/Mt Wellington in Tassie. This shot was taken at first light after extensive planning and dreaming on the hardest climb in the area. The crew made a massive effort in the dark, scrambling and rappeling into position for the sunrise. We were rewarded with one of the most glorious mornings on the mountain I've ever had. The climber’s name is Ryan Sklenica, and our humble, shivering belayer (out of frame) was Scott Roberts.
