Underwater Playground
The underwater world is a part of nature that intrigues many of us - it's mysterious, unfamiliar, and beautifully unique. As a novice diver, I was determined to capture the beauty of this world below the surface, and one time found myself being welcomed into an underwater playground of energetic sea lions. As they darted around me and played amongst each other, it seemed as if they were putting on an underwater dance to showcase their best manoeuvres. This image captured the main show as the curious sea lions suddenly appeared from the deep abyss before quickly disappearing again in different directions. Eaglehawk Neck, Tasmania.
