Chasing Spring Corn on Mt Bogong

While the rest of Victoria was glued to their TVs watching the AFL Grand Final, a handful of intrepid travellers were earning their turns atop of Mt Bogong. Spring Corn is a term used by outback skiers and boarders to describe the snow that still remains at high altitudes when the season has changed in the lowlands. The snow is compact being the base layer, but has a softness to it akin to powder, or at least that's what we tell ourselves. You may only get two runs in a whole day, but the lung burn is always worth it.
