Sunset over Myall Lake, NSW

During a 250km self-guided walk between Taree and Newcastle, I had an absolutely cooker of a day where I spent the vast majority on dirt tracks, or on the roadside underneath a 35°c sun. At the end of a gruelling day, I arrived at my camp for the evening, which overlooked Myall Lake. I set up the tent, then stood by the water watching the sun slowly descend and the sky turn from blue, to orange, purple, then finally darkness. It was a beautiful end to a hard day walking. Taken on a Google Pixel device in 2020.
